Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.

Reflect

Jesus speaks of the challenges inherent in following Him, which includes bearing our own cross. This involves a willingness to face trials and make sacrifices for His sake. As we encounter resistance or struggles, we are reminded that the path of discipleship is not always easy. However, these challenges are opportunities for growth and deeper reliance on God. The cross is a call to persevere in faith, trusting that He equips us for every trial we face.
