Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
The fruit of the Spirit is a natural result of living in step with the Spirit. These qualities reflect Christ’s character and should be evident in our lives. Unlike the works of the flesh, which are driven by our sinful nature, the fruit of the Spirit is produced by God’s work within us. As we cultivate our relationship with the Holy Spirit, these attributes will manifest more prominently, transforming our interactions and reflecting God’s love to others.
Response
- Which fruit of the Spirit do you want to grow more in your life, and how can you nurture it?
- Holy Spirit, cultivate Your fruit in my life. Let my actions and words reflect love, joy, and peace to those around me. Amen.
