Galatians 5:16
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
Reflect
As followers of Christ, we are called to walk by the Spirit, which means allowing the Holy Spirit to guide and influence our daily actions and decisions. This journey began when we first accepted Christ, and it continues as we develop a deeper relationship with Him. Walking by the Spirit empowers us to resist the temptations of the flesh, which represents our sinful nature. By staying in step with the Spirit, we can experience true freedom, not through our efforts but through God’s grace.
Respond
- How can you consciously choose to walk by the Spirit in your daily routine?
- Lord, help me to walk by Your Spirit today. Guide my thoughts and actions so that I may resist the desires of the flesh and live in Your freedom. Amen.
