Paul Etterling
Lead Pastor
Paul is married to Frances. They have three children, Kylie, David (who is now at home with Jesus), and Joel. Paul has been on staff since 2002 and has served as lead pastor since 2007.
Michael Sammons
Associate Pastor
Mike is married to Melissa. They are parents to Ashley, Travis (and spouse Keeley), Emily, and the newest addition, Mikey. Pastor Mike has a heart for people. His responsibilities include overseeing the evangelism and outreach programs or events of the church. He is also the leadership partner with Westerville Women Active For Christ and Masters Men.
Scott Hilbert
Associate Pastor
Scott Hilbert is the newest member of the pastoral staff. He is married to Haley. They have four children. Scott’s role is to help you find your purpose. God has given each of us unique and specific skills that we should willingly apply to the advancement of the kingdom. Scott can help you identify your skills and plug you into an impactful ministry.
Our Deacons
Gary Sargent
Deacon, Chairman
Gary has been a member of the Westerville Free Will Baptist Church for over 40 years. He currently serves as the Director of the Deacon Board. He has served as a deacon since 2008. He has been a follower of Christ for over 50 years. Gary is happily married to his wife Patty for over 40 years. They have one son (Kyle), daughter-in-law (Holly), and four grandchildren (Noah, Hannah, Logan, & Georgia).
David Castle
Deacon
David is a Bible Teacher, Deacon, and Director of Finance for our church family. He was saved at the age of nine and grew up in church. He has been married for over forty years to his wife, April. They have been members of the Westerville Church since 1998. They have three grown children who are married and nine grandchildren.
Jim Brazzell
Deacon
Jim Brazzell is a member of the leadership team and is a deacon for our church family. Jim is married to Sherry. They have two grown children.
